One of the amazing perks of living in Huntington Beach is that every year we get to experience the amazing Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow! Seriously we feel so spoiled. Just today the US NAVY BLUE ANGELS were practicing and flying what seemed like yards above our houses! All the neighbors were sitting outside watching in awe. Tomorrow the kids at school are laying out towels on the grass to watch the practice show from the school yard. We can’t wait for the weekend to experience the whole show at its finest! To experience the Huntington Beach Airshow is kind of indescribable. To see the extreme talent and precision of the pilots along with the sounds of the jets so close overhead creates the most spectacular experience!!! I hope you can all make it down.

THE BREITLING HUNTINGTON BEACH AIRSHOW is SEPTEMBER 30 & OCTOBER 1 Noon-4pm
TIPS AND TRICKS
1. Traffic is BAD. IF you’ve live in town you know that means you should bike to the beach. If you aren’t close enough to bike from your home, stow your bikes on your car and park in a nearby neighborhood and also bike to the beach. Other options would be UBER, LYFT or to access the FREE Huntington Beach Shuttle of one of their 13 locations.
2. Bring EARPLUGS. Though the sounds are amazing, it is tremendously loud!
3. This year the show center is closer to the pier than last year (where is was at Beach Blvd) . For the best experience try to sit at close to the show centers as possible. Of course you can still see the show from most areas in Huntington, but on the beach close to the pier is the best location to watch. See map below. The airshow is FREE to the public, but there is an option for front row seats! To purchase upgraded seating starting at $139 click HERE. And the best thing is all proceeds from this event will go to the Aerospace Education Foundation of Huntington Beach which supports youth who are interested in pioneering the next generation of aviation.
